Summary
This position is located at Office of the Inspector General for Tax Admin,Office of Audit. As a Visual Information Specialist, you will manage and oversee visual information projects, providing design, production, and consultation services. These projects will support TIGTA's Office of Audit and activities through visual means, including print and online dashboarding.
Duties
This position can be filled within any of the current TIGTA offices throughout the country and is NOT a remote position.
As a Visual Information Specialist, you will:
- Use the available desktop publishing technology and equipment in the development and production of design for reports, publications, or other visual presentations.
- Design and produce graphics for electronic and print publications and visual presentations or equivalent.
- Take project concepts through its various stages of development, from preliminary rough layouts, through comprehensive layouts for client approval and on through final art.
- Develop interpretations of information, original ideas and concepts using illustrative materials.

Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.Specialized Experience: For the GS-12, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:
- Managing all aspects of producing visual information for print and online uses, including the design, creation, and preparation of graphic art, charts, page layouts, designs, and related content; AND
- Planning and coordinating the preparation and use of photographs, illustrations, and various kinds of visual material for use in communicating information through visual means; AND
- Applying graphic design and print electronic publishing processes using current versions of Adobe Creative Suite (i.e. Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.) and Microsoft Suite (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel) applications; AND
- Communicating and interacting; both orally and in writing with various levels of associates.
