This is a critical role in AXS’s digital success as you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of AXS’s SEO Product strategy and roadmap to drive incremental traffic and support digital media growth initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize fixes/optimizations and create new components, templates, and experiences to drive the growth of Non-Brand SEO traffic. You will work closely with Marketing, Product, Design, and Engineering counterparts in a well-resourced growth pod to transform AXS’s Product experience. You will also be the SEO subject matter expert who provides guidance, requirements, and detailed specifications while ensuring successful execution of SEO initiatives from ideation through execution. Reporting to the Vice President, Optimization and MarTech, this role requires attention to detail and juggling multiple projects simultaneously.

What Will You Do?

  • Lead the development and execution of the SEO product strategy and roadmap. Work with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize product requirements, and then coordinate with the design and development teams to deliver those features.
  • Serve as the SEO subject matter expert, providing guidance, detailed requirements, and specifications. Ensure successful execution of SEO initiatives from ideation through to completion, delivering measurable results. Represent SEO interests in all rituals, including stand-ups, sprint planning, grooming, retrospectives, etc..
  • Proactively and aggressively identify and mitigate SEO Product issues including broken internal links, improper parameterization, negative crawl impact, and suboptimal experiences to increase overall site quality and health.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of highly complex and detailed initiatives including site migrations, replatforming, and consolidation of multiple domains, subdomains, and subfolders.
  • Spec out landing page experiences and capabilities that feature content, keywords, and internal links to drive improvements in quality and relevance.
  • Leverage knowledge to design, test and deliver against insights derived from crawl analysis and leveraging best-in-class tools.
  • Analyze and interpret organic traffic data to identify trends, patterns, and insights about demand to inform the rest of our business, including the supply side of our marketplace.

What Will You Bring?

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required; degree in Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • 4-6 years' experience in product management, with a focus on SEO, marketing analytics, data management, and machine learning.

  • Ability to harness quantitative & qualitative data to address exciting buyer problems and have experience running consumer-facing A/B tests. Experience also with SEO-specific quantitative testing, such as SEO split testing
  • Experience defining consumer product roadmaps from inception to launch.
  • Proficient in SQL/BigQuery
  • Large-scale marketplace SEO (5-500+ million URLs) experience is highly preferred

What’s in it for You?
