Purpose Statement

Shift: 1st - Monday thru Friday with start times between 5am and 6 am

The Facilities Technician I maintainsthe inside and outside appearance of the facilities and performs general facility maintenance functions.

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes

Inside Conditions

• Inspects and maintains sanitation equipment
• Inspect and maintain forklift battery water levels
• Inspect and maintain battery charging stations
• Checks restrooms for overall condition
• Inspect and maintain all facility doors
• Performs various facility repairs (e.g., Fixes holes in walls, ceilings and paint as needed)
• Assist maintenance with equipment breakdowns, as needed
• Completes paperwork - PM's, work orders, parts requests
• Performs other assigned duties as required

Outside Conditions

• Checks in with Supervisor to get the task list for the day
• Tests fire suppression system weekly or as prescribed by PM work order

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• High school diploma or GED; or at least 2 years work experience (preferably in a food processing facility) in a maintenance capacity
• Sound mechanical and electrical knowledge base
• Basic understanding of maintenance systems and maintenance specific software tools
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
• Able to read, write and speak English preferred - bilingual Spanish a plus but not required

COMPENSATION

In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.
