Role Overview:
* Position: RF Test Engineering Manager.
* Location: Chelmsford, MA.
* Responsibilities:
1. Leading a team in the development, duplicate builds and sustainment of custom automated test equipment (ATE) systems for digital, RF, and microwave products.
2. Collaborating with industry-leading RF and microwave design professionals across multiple Lockheed sites
3. Providing technical innovation and leadership to project teams.
4. Driving continuous process improvement initiatives across the Chelmsford site.
5. Managing the challenge between new test equipment development while maintaining production capacity and equipment.
6. Serving as a primary spokesperson for Test Engineering internally and externally.
7. Act as advocate for your employees supporting their assignments, growth and development to perform at their best.
* Security Requirement: Applicants must undergo a government security investigation and meet eligibility criteria for accessing classified information.

* Location: Chelmsford, MA, situated approximately 25 miles northwest of Boston.
* Proximity to Attractions:
* Historic Lowell, Massachusetts, and Nashua, New Hampshire, are nearby.
* Close to New Hampshire's White Mountains and ski areas.
* About an hour's drive to scenic coastal towns in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
* Approximately 90 minutes from Cape Cod.
* Easy access to Boston (30 minutes without traffic) and New York City (about 4.5 hours away).
* Major ski resorts in New Hampshire and Vermont are within a 2-3 hour drive.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combined education / experience.
Experience developing/supporting automated test equipment.
The ability to effectively lead Engineering personnel is required.
Experience managing cost and schedule and technical aspects of projects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance and must obtain at least an interim secret clearance prior to start.
Desired Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in engineering field
Experience in leadership of Engineering personnel.
Proficiency in Product Development Process.
Proficiency in Production Processes.
Proficiency with RF/microwave test equipment.
Experience in Cost Account Management.
Experience in growing organizational talent through informal coaching and formal performance reviews.
Experience in design and manufacturing of circuit cards and hybrid/microwave microelectronics.
Experience in military contracting environment.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
