The Division of Adult Psychiatry and Psychology in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Duke University School of Medicine invites applications for an academic clinician position as a clinical psychologist. The academic clinician will support our clinical, research, and training activities. Specifically, we are seeking individuals who are interested in participating in individual- and team-based clinical activities. Applicants should have training and expertise in performing comprehensive psychosocial assessments and have the ability to work with individuals and couples. This position is a faculty appointment with rank commensurate with the applicants experience.

Primary Activities: This clinical faculty position will include providing evidence-based interventions focused on adults with a range of psychiatric disorders. In addition to providing clinical services to adults, the clinical psychologist will be interacting with clinical social workers, Advanced Practice Providers, psychiatrists, other psychologists, and administrative clinical support staff on a routine basis. Involvement in the development of collaborative care services within the Duke Health System will also be part of this position. Part of the clinical effort might involve providing clinical services to Duke employees. The position might also involve supervision of trainee clinicians, as well as the provision of in-service trainings. Scholarly activities are encouraged and supported.
