As the Principal Geoscience Advisor, you will act as the focal point or project manager for all Product Line input to support OFSE. You will Coordinate in-region communication between clients, Product Lines, and the Geoscience regional teams. Additionally, you will be the key contact person globally for external clients as well as internal stakeholders, taking ownership of the related products or solutions within the respective segment.
In this role, you will also be responsible for:
- Providing Cased-Hole Wireline and Production Logging related analysis using appropriate, state-of-the-art techniques to provide Best-In-Class solutions for the client.
- Supporting and interpreting existing Production Logging services as SME in the industry. Creates data quality specifications, interpretation workflows and answer products.
- Supporting analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods including tool design, sensor characterization, and input to surface acquisition and interpretation software development.
- Acting as the global focal point for development, implementation, or optimization of Production Logging deliverable, service, technology, workflow and process.
- Being recognized as a Global technical contact to the customers. This includes providing routine client follow-up, technology presentations and product delivery, as well as providing technical input to client proposals.
- Participating in applications of CH Wireline solutions in integrated projects. Writes and presents industry papers and publications.
- Authoring course content for Production Logging. Certified instructor for relevant internal classes in discipline, and external as applicable.
- Teaching and mentoring global Geoscience population with remote and in-person trainings. Be responsible for tracking and approving their competencies.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
- Have a minimum of 6 years of experience in Geoservices.
- Have work experience and expertise in the area of Production Logging.
- Have a patent or publication related to the topic of Geosciences and the areas of responsibility for this role.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of discipline topics and ability to speak with clients about discipline applications.
- Demonstrate proficiency in discipline related software including PLATO and Emeraude
- Have working experience in multiple regional petroleum basins/provinces and understand their geological settings and reservoir complexities
