We are seeking a talented Digital Designer to join our client’s team. This role will primarily focus on video editing and digital design, with a strong emphasis on creating visually appealing and engaging content for both web and social media platforms. The client is a high-end beauty company, so portfolios should be very elevated.

Responsibilities

• Video Editing:
  • Color grading and light color correction for videos.
  • Assist the Art Director in creating and editing videos, including sound editing and basic effects.
  • Ensure videos adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a high level of quality.
• Digital Design:
  • Design and optimize landing pages, email blasts, and PDP pages for a seamless user experience.
  • Create responsive designs that adapt to various screen sizes and devices.
  • Collaborate with the digital team to fulfill market requests, such as retailer banners.
  • Understand the digital landscape and design for effective development and implementation.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in video editing software, primarily Premiere.
  • Familiar with Figma and willing to learn and adapt to our design workflow.
  • Knowledge of sound editing techniques.
  • Experience working with development teams and understanding design-to-development handoffs.

Qualifications:

• Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional video editing and digital design skills.
• A keen eye for design aesthetics and the ability to create visually appealing content.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Experience in the digital media or beauty is preferred.

Job Details

• Remote position with the option to come into the office if needed.
• EST hours preferred.
• 40 hours per week

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $50 – $53/hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
