Our global technology company is looking for an Event Partner Marketing Manager. This is an onsite position, and you MUST be in the Chicago, IL area to be considered. Remote is NOT an option.
The Event Partner Marketing Manager will be responsible executing managing global live events that involve our strategic partner, Salesforce. This role combines partner marketing expertise with event management skills to deliver high-impact events that drive engagement, strengthen partnerships, and support our mutual business objectives with Salesforce. The ideal candidate will excel in creating collaborative event strategies, executing seamless events, and fostering strong partner relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate and execute sponsorship of partner conferences
- Manage all aspects of sponsored events in collaboration with our partners, including logistics, venue selection, booth build, content development, and on-site operations, ensuring a seamless experience, engaging content, and successful stakeholder participation.
- Lead the planning and execution of ancillary events that enhance our presence at partner conferences, such as workshops, customer receptions, executive roundtables, and executive experiences.
- Ensure event objectives are met through effective integration of partner goals and seamless coordination throughout the event lifecycle.
2. Marketing and Promotion:
- Develop and execute joint marketing campaigns with partners to drive event attendance and maximize visibility.
- Utilize a range of marketing channels, including digital marketing, social media, and email, to promote partner events and engage target audiences.
- Create impactful promotional content and materials that reflect both AWS and partner branding.
3. Partner Collaboration and Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partner organizations to facilitate successful event outcomes and foster long-term collaborations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for partners regarding event planning and execution, addressing their needs and concerns effectively.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and product, to ensure alignment and integration with broader business strategies.
4. Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze event performance metrics, including attendee feedback, engagement levels, lead generation, and return on investment (ROI).
- Prepare detailed reports on event outcomes, highlighting successes and identifying areas for improvement.
- Use insights from performance data to refine event strategies and enhance future partner marketing initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in partner marketing or event management, with a proven track record of executing successful partner-driven events within a technology organization.
- Strong understanding of global event trends, partner marketing strategies, and audience engagement techniques.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple events and deadlines simultaneously.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with experience managing relationships with diverse partners and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in event management software, digital marketing tools, and CRM systems.
- Willingness to travel internationally and adapt to different time zones as required.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $33.83 to $37.59 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
