Job Title: Merchandising Operations Analyst
Location: Plantation, Florida
Department: Catalog Systems (Merchandising Systems & Services)

About the Role:
Our large e-retail client seeking a Merchandising Operations Analyst to join our Catalog Systems team, part of the broader Merchandising Systems & Services (MSS) group. The team is responsible for developing the infrastructure of systems, services, and processes for all of our client’s businesses, playing a key role in our growth and customer experience. As a member of the team, you will help manage and enhance systems related to pricing, catalog content, and vendor services, working on automation, operational efficiencies, and system enhancements.

The ideal candidate will bring a mix of information systems and merchandising business process knowledge, with an ability to analyze data, manage catalog systems, and collaborate cross-functionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a subject matter expert in 1-2 areas, driving independent ownership of specific processes.
  • Execute tasks to maintain and improve catalog data accuracy and completeness, influencing customer experience.
  • Drive process improvements through automation and development of standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to manage client's Item Master and ensure the accuracy of source data.
  • Analyze large datasets and synthesize information into actionable insights.
  • Support various projects related to catalog systems and processes, including collaboration with technical teams to enhance systems and tools.
  • Identify automation opportunities and drive the implementation of system improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • 0-3 years of experience in business systems, merchandising analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office products, including advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with SQL and/or Tableau is preferred.
  • Ability to create and improve KPIs using quantitative analysis.
  • Strong communication skills to translate complex analysis into actionable business insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for process improvement.

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience with Python or R for data analytics.
  • Experience with ERP systems or e-commerce environments.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools like Confluence and JIRA.
  • Proficiency with SQL and Tableau for data analysis.

Compensation:
The target compensation for this role is $23.99 to $26.66 per hour, based on education, experience, and location.
