Job Description:

Job Title: Installation Technician
Location: On-site in Phoenix, AZ
Job Summary: Branch is now recruiting a Commercial Security Installation Technician. Person will be programming commercial security devices. Primarily IP network systems and overall security systems for new construction projects and modifications for existing security systems.
The Right Candidate:
• 4-5 years of experience in related field
•Must have understanding of access controls and has programmed video.
• Understand basic programming of a video systems
•Preferred experience in installing and programming commercial (residential is ok but commercial preferred) access control, IP-based video systems and intrusion alarm systems.
•Must be process oriented, with good communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge and practical experience with the internet and networking would be helpful.
• Must be able to work independently and resolve problems to our customer’s satisfaction.
• Must possess a valid driving license and clean MVR
• Can setup server independently at job site locations
Current certification in one of the following is a plus: Honeywell Pro-Watch, Genetec, Openpath, Exacq, 3xLogic, Brivo, Lenel, S2, Milestone, Avigilon, Software House or Amag.
Responsibilities:
Installing, terminating, configuring, and testing enterprise security systems with minimal supervision. System knowledge of access control, IP video surveillance, intrusion, and visitor management, preferred.
• Managing quality control and providing fanatical customer service
• Taking responsibility for and tracking project progress.
Education:
• High School (or GED) minimum requirement
• Electronics training from a Technical School or Military training in electronics or communications (preferred)
