Job Description:
Apex Systems is currently searching for Lead Technicians to support one of the largest security companies in the country. In this role, you will be leading the installation and programming of security systems for enterprise clients all throughout the Greater Tampa area. Title: Lead Technician
Location: Greater Tampa Area
Duration: 6+ Month Contract to Hire
Pay Rate: $30-40/HR, Provided with a company vehicle, phone and tools.
Project Details:
- Enterprise level install experience. Traveling to new and existing customers installing, programming, and troubleshooting security and access systems.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Servicing, troubleshooting, programming, and testing enterprise security systems with minimal supervision.
- System knowledge of access control, IP video surveillance, intrusion, and visitor management, preferred.
- Troubleshooting and programming networked IP video systems.
- Troubleshooting and programming networked access control.
- Servicing commercial intrusion alarm systems and other IoT connected systems.
- Providing fanatical customer service when dealing with customers.
Required experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in troubleshooting and programming networked access control and IP video systems, including working on the customer’s network
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience servicing and programming commercial access control, IP-based video systems and intrusion alarm systems.
- Programming Mercury Board Based Systems, such as Lenel, Prowatch, Genetec
