We are setting the standard for a modern sports and entertainment brand that shapes a better tomorrow for all.    Position Summary: The Twins Youth Baseball/Softball Instructors will be responsible for planning and executing baseball clinics as part of the Minnesota Twins Community Fund free clinic program. Instructors will work within a team of clinicians in order to effectively instruct all major aspects of the game to both small and large groups. They will be assigned to work clinic locations, dates, and times based on instructor's availability.    Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 
  • Valid Driver's License is required. 
  • Must be able to complete USA Baseball Abuse Awareness Training upon hire. 
  • Ability to work two-hour clinic, and sometimes back-to-back clinics, outdoor or indoor as needed.
  • Able to work Friday evenings, Saturday, and Sunday mornings from May to the end of August. 
  • Able to speak loudly to large groups of kids and adults, while communicating the values of the Minnesota Twins. 
  • Able to work collaboratively with other experienced instructors. 
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, bend, jog, throw, and perform all necessary movements to effectively instruct the fundamentals of baseball or softball for duration of event. 
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion. 
  Compensation: Hourly rate of $50/hour during events and $20/hour non-event.       We ask that you please submit a resume that includes your Baseball and/or Softball coaching experience.    EEO is The Law - click here for more information
