The creators of the top selling and critically acclaimed racing games' franchise, are seeking an experienced presentation and capture artist for the next installment of their Motorsport Franchise. In this role, you will work with the UI Content Director and UI team to capture compelling and inspiring still images of in-game content for use in the UI and other areas of 2D presentation. This person will be critical to capture the motorsport identity and drive the visual brand of authentic motorsport racing in the UI and beyond. The ideal candidate would be a car and racing enthusiast, with a strong photography portfolio and graphic design sense, have an intimate knowledge of photoshop, and have experience in real-time game tools for screen captures.
Responsibilities:
- Create and capture high-quality in-game images using propriety tools.
- Create compelling compositions that support and drive the visual brand identity.
- Balance quality with efficiency while managing timely deliveries in a fast-paced production environment.
- Able to take direction and incorporate feedback.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Real-world live event, studio or similar photography experience.
- Understanding of composition, photo editing, and lighting.
- Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop).
- Cultivated aesthetic sense and keen eye for detail.
- Self-motivated team player with excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
- Ability to quickly learn new/proprietary software.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- In-Game and Real-world experience in car photography and motorsport events.
- Creative and technical skills as a 2D generalist, capable of working in strict art direction guidelines,
- Post-production & motion graphics skills including, but not limited to, color grading, typography, transitions, rotoscoping, and compositing.
- Experience with Unreal, Unity, or other game engines.
- Familiarity with development kits and troubleshooting.
- Experience with conventional cameras (DSLR, Mirrorless, Red, etc.)
- Automotive enthusiast with a passion for racing games.
- Understanding and knowledge of marketing trends and best practices.
Portfolio Submissions:
- Examples of high-resolution photography stills, videos shoots, or motion graphics.
- Examples of good layout graphic design.
- Please submit a demo reel/portfolio & breakdown with relevant examples of your work.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $42.18 to $46.87 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
