User Experience Designer
Position Overview
Our client is seeking a User Experience Designer to join their team for a 6-month, 40 hours per week contract role. Eligible candidates need to be able to be onsite in Seattle
The ideal candidate will have experience in designing innovative and user-friendly solutions. This role focuses on enhancing user satisfaction by improving the usability and accessibility of our products, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Use business requirements, market research and customer feedback to assist in developing scenarios, use cases, and high-level requirements
- Design conceptual sketches, wireframe information architecture, high-fidelity mockups, and interaction specifications
- Develop and nurture relationships across teams and disciplines to promote collaboration and efficiency
- Develop and maintain detailed design patterns that scale for your team and influence other designers
- Lead brainstorming sessions and give presentations to drive design, demonstrating features and flows
- Understand and respond to data (metric tests, usability studies), using that to inform future design
Qualifications
- 4+ years of design experience in a professional environment.
- 3+ years of experience delivering design solutions for web and mobile applications.
- 3+ years of experience using FIGMA for design and prototyping.
- Experience prototyping (HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, Flash or Flash Catalyst, or Axure)
- Strong portfolio showcasing design projects and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with User Research (concept testing, usability, etc.)
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
