As a Test Technician Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in testing and evaluating aerospace systems and components. You will be accountable for conducting tests, analyzing data, and ensuring the quality and performance of our products. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team at the forefront of aerospace innovation.
In this role, you will impact the quality and reliability of our aerospace systems and components. Your attention to detail and expertise in testing will contribute to the overall success of our products.
Key Responsibilities
- 1st shift: 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday
2nd shift: 2:30pm-11:00pm Monday-Friday
- Perform System and Board level Testing
- Perform Automated System Level Testing by following detailed written procedures and on the job experience on multiple segments
- Document system level Events and failures accurately in the data book and e-factory.
- Update and maintain e-factory status of units in segment.
- Product knowledge that helps with ability to conduct basic level troubleshooting.
- Perform test set-up and teardown of associated equipment and cables, storing in designated locations when not in use.
- Ability to work across and test multiple products.
- Varied tasks are performed and completed by following test work instructions and applying Honeywell policies and procedures.
- Utilization of tools, computers, and office equipment as required to complete job related tasks.
- Interacts with other Test Team members and Engineering Support.
US Citizen Requirements
Candidate must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements
Must Have
* 2+ years of experience as a Test Technician
* Attention to detail and ability to analyze test data
We Value
* Associate degree in Aerospace Technology or a related field
- Experience in assembling electrical components
- Have an understanding of electronics and proficient use of general purpose test equipment such as oscilloscopes and multi-meters.
- Ability to read schematics, follows written procedures, and applies computer skills and technical knowledge to competently troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
- Navigation equipment experience and knowledge of environmental screening (Halt - Haas chamber) is a plus.
