The Technology Lead will join our Product Technology Team and help solve problems with products and features that impact the customer. If you are a strong technical leader who is curious, problem solver and a strong communicator, this role is for you.
Where will you work?
This role can be considered remote. Our preference is by one of our home offices in Portland, ME or Swedesboro, NJ
What you’ll do:
- Partner with product owner to provide team-level leadership
- Analyze and document technical solutions
- Continuously improve software engineering practices
- Develop, test, and support code using agile methodologies
- Mentor engineers
Who you are:
- Technical Leader: Strong technical and troubleshooting skills; enjoy creating and building platforms from scratch with a knack for troubleshooting and fixing technical problems.
- Leader: You’re a natural coach; teaching, motivating, and guiding your team to meet deadlines at a high productivity.
- Strong Communicator: Offering support and guidance; giving clear instructions and setting expectations
- Fast Paced: Manage multiple projects while still meeting deadlines.
What you’ve done:
- Significant experience with our core technologies: Node, JavaScript/TypeScript, GraphQL, React and relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
- Experience with Kafka and event sourcing architectures, Docker and AWS ECS
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related technical/IT field from an accredited institution or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- 5+ years full stack software development experience specific to the required technologies outlined above
- Experience leading a technical team with strong coaching skills.
- Outstanding attention to detail and capacity to demonstrate continual learning
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong interpersonal verbal and written skills
