Our client has an immediate need for a Technical Editor And Writer to join the team! This employee will be responsible for editing compliant and compelling proposal responses in response to commercial and U.S. government solicitation requirements. This position will be based out of our Fairfax, VA location.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and development of FEDSIM proposals including slides, staffing plans, staffing rationale, transition plans, management approach, technical approach, and orals presentation scripts.
- Apply interviewing skills to gather information from internal/external personnel to support writing activities.
- Write clear, persuasive, and compliant proposal sections; translates complex ideas into easily understandable text.
- Develop and implement process improvements to help improve proposal quality.
- 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
- 3+ years of experience working as a proposal writer responding to Federal Government solicitations.
- Must have experience with FEDSIM proposals.
- Experience with traditional video, live orals, and demonstration/scenario proposals.
- Demonstrated success writing and leading technical, management, staffing, and transition volumes for complex efforts.
- Excellent writing, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- The position is onsite in our Fairfax, VA office.
- 5+ years of experience working as a proposal writer responding to Federal Government solicitations.
- 2+ years’ experience supporting FEDSIM proposals.
- Ability to coach and instruct others to facilitate consistency across multiple authors.
