Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business (MSB) invites applications for a full-time, 12-month Teaching Professor in Analytics.
This position covers 15-credits of teaching courses with emphasis on statistics, business analytics, and data science in multiple programs across the MSB including the undergraduate program, the MBA (Full-time, Flex, Flex Online, and Executive), the Masters in Management, the Masters in Business Analytics, and the Masters in Global Real Assets.
In addition to teaching, the successful candidate will collaborate with faculty to make continuous improvements to the curriculum and courses, and to advise students and engage with student leadership. Candidates are also expected to participate in some service or committee assignments similar to other full-time teaching faculty in the school.
Candidates must hold a graduate degree (a Ph.D. is preferred) in Business, Analytics, or a related discipline. We are seeking dynamic candidates with demonstrated ability to successfully teach courses in the statistics and analytics space with relevant professional experience in the business analytics field who could also successfully advise student capstone projects in analytics. The appointment is expected to begin August 1, 2025, and the search process will continue until the position is filled.

The projected salary for this position is $114,000 - $148,000, which represents the full range of anticipated compensation for this position. Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidates individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the Universitys business needs and external factors.
