Job Description
The Strategic Operations Manager role is a key leadership position that is part of the OSI Business Development and Strategy team. In this role you will work closely with your peers and collaborate across the business area to lead the development of our integrated business plan, lead and assist with business area strategic initiatives, assist with market analysis and competitive intelligence efforts, shape our corporate investment strategy and business continuous improvement efforts, and support competitive pursuits. This role reports directly to the Director of Business Development and Strategy.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead our business area integrated business planning process.
  • Lead and develop market analysis including DOD budget analysis
  • Lead business area strategic initiatives, like operational excellence strategies, strategically important proposals and pursuits, and portfolio shaping efforts.
  • Collaborate with leaders across the business to develop/refine business and functional strategies.
  • Lead business development quarterly business review inputs as well as overall business area messaging and liaison with sector strategy as required
  • Develop annual strategic plan to include holistic alignment with IR&D, BP with technology, product and customer roadmaps, tradeshow plans
  • Conduct Phase 0 reviews on future opportunities and assist functions with BD LCM Phase Review Gates
  • Maintain overarching business development metrics and reporting
  • Collaborate with functional leads to assess Export regs, Offsets requirements, Organizational Conflict of Interest (OCI), and Contracts/Legal agreements (NDA/PIA/TAA/Teaming)
  • Support overall business with business case assessments
  • Support strategic campaigns to include Campaign planning, LCM, competitive assessments, PTW, and color team analysis
  • Support all Business Development functions to achieve business area goals


Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree and 10 years work experience or equivalent experience
  • Experience in Strategic Planning, Business Development Planning, or similar
  • Experience in Defense (DoD)
  • Experience working cross-functionally to support business strategies
  • Ability to conduct market analysis including budget analysis
  • Ability to build integrated business plans
  • Ability to support competitive campaigns or pursuits
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Strong communication skills


Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Masters Degree
  • Experience with building strategic plans or integrated business plans
  • Experience with DoD competitive campaigns or pursuits
  • Experience with BAE planning or business development processes


Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $115110 - $195660

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
