Job Summary
Color Print Operator and Client Service ContactKey Responsibilities/Duties – what you will be doing
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS* (in order of importance)

- Operates high speed, high volume floor model inserters and digital production printers BW/COLOR
- Set up and program menus on equipment both printers and inserters
- Release electronic files from print que sw over the network and selects print stream (7 machines)
- Ability to provide maintenance and troubleshoot various equipment usually found in an In Plant Print Shop
- Operate a paper cutter ,folder and 3 hole drill
- Maintains productivity and delivers quality while meeting production deadlines
- Attention to detail is paramount because of the confidential PHI printed to providers and members
Qualifications – what you need to perform the job
- Experience utilizing software programs such as MS Word, Excel, Adobe, QDIRECT Print Que Management, Print Shop Mail (mail merge sw), Rediprint and AIMS (insert sw) for 2D bar codes closed loop technology
- Demonstrated proficiency to edit and manage image content to mail merge an address file in MSEXCEL along with adding variable data drops onto sensitive and confidential communications (PHI) using software such as Print Shop mail or Rediprint.
- Ability to diagnose, solve and correct operating issues both on High Speed High Volume Production Printers and Inserters on your own (Saturday shift)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Should be clear, constructive and tactful in your communication to internal employees at the upper management level
- Strong Customer Service skills working with the internal customer to review unclear instructions, offer alternatives that will enhance or streamline the project and to be specific with current trends and articulate the options the print shop offers to minimize outsourcing when a cost effective alternative can achieve the same result.
