Job Description:
Cloud Engineer - AI/ML Product (AMP) Initiative Team
As a Cloud Engineer on the AMP Initiative Team, you will play a crucial role in migrating our microservices across AWS accounts. Your responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with fellow Cloud Engineers to ensure a seamless migration process.
- Participating in team standups and retrospectives.
- Independently troubleshooting and resolving failed GitLab CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application changes.
- Leveraging Jira and Confluence for efficient work management.
- Demonstrating competence with Terraform (TF) and familiarity with converting CloudFormation to Terraform.
- Troubleshooting containerized services deployed in AWS environments.
Experience Required:
- Designing, writing, and troubleshooting GitLab-CI pipelines.
- Deep operational production experience with AWS managed services (IAM, EKS, SNS, SQS, Route53, DynamoDB, S3, EFS, Lambda, KMS, ASM).
- Operating containerized applications on Kubernetes (EKS) clusters in a production environment.
- Proficiency with Docker.
- Familiarity with metrics, monitoring, and visualization tools (e.g., DataDog).
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
- Experience with Git, AWS CLI, Kubernetes CLI tooling, and Linux shell utilities.
- Awareness of Agile work management and team strategies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong team player.
Location: We prefer candidates located close to the US Mountain Time timezone (within 4 timezones of Mountain Time) to facilitate real-time collaboration.
