Job Description:
The Software Engineer oversees application development, modification, and maintenance of applications. This position monitors system applications, ensures systems run smoothly, and creates reports and other documentation outlining findings/solutions.Primary Responsibilities
Designs and deploys new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operation systems
Design, develop, and implement solutions automation using Python, UiPath, .NET and other latest technologies
Write clean, efficient and maintainable code, adhering to industry best practices
Develops and implements strategies to improve systems
Identifies and resolves business systems issues
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize automation processes for maximum efficiency
Measures effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems
Monitors and tests system performance
Oversees the training of junior engineers to improve job skills and work efficiency
Typically has full ownership of a process
May act as a procedural expert
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
Seven (7) years of experience
Skills and Competencies
Proficiency in Python and .NET programming languages for scripting and automation tasks
Strong expertise in UiPath for Robotic Process Automation
Deep understanding of automation concepts and tools, with the ability to design scalable solutions
Strong expertise in CI/CD leveraging tools such as Harness
Proficiency in cloud technologies like AWS, Openshift
Ability to develop and implement technology solutions to resolve technical challenges
Knowledge of software testing techniques, code optimization and software debugging
Strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills
Strong executional capabilities
Thorough understanding of software structures, computing systems and how to integrate them
Comments for Suppliers: The position is FLEX, where the contractor is expected to come to the office 3-5 days per week.
