The Service Finance Financial Consultant serves as a strategic business consultant to the business, providing financial analysis and guidance to support key decisions and initiatives. Prepares management information and reporting via financial software to support financial reporting. Deliver finance and accounting related reporting and analytic solutions via the Board software platform. Responsible for delivering on the business’ strategic objectives, such as bringing technology to end users to support their day-to-day operations, standardizing processes across multiple teams to enhance collaboration and efficiency and leveraging technology and automation to improve accuracy and create time savings.Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Experienced financial professional role that applies in-depth knowledge within own professional discipline and a deeper understanding of concepts and principles of the business to produce relevant financial analysis and reporting.
2. Compiles, reviews, analyzes, and submits timely and accurate monthly reporting related to the business’ financial performance or strategy. These may include: pro-forma projections for transaction, products, market segmentation strategies or acquisitions; income/expense or cash flow forecasts; regulatory interpretations, variance analysis and explanations for financial statement line items; or summaries, charts and graphs of data to highlight key results. Ensures that source data is reliable, complete and documentation is maintained to support data integrity initiatives. Interpret and summarize results and trends for Senior Leadership.
3. Applies knowledge of best practices derived from experience to solve problems of higher operational or technical complexity by analyzing possible solutions using data analysis, experience, judgement and precedents. Takes a new perspective on existing solutions to propose innovative solutions. Prepares and reviews materials to senior leadership summarizing issues and communicating solutions.
4. Routinely use significant judgement in moderate to complex business challenges.
5. Provide subject matter expertise and thought leadership to ensure the business optimally leverages the Board platform for:
a. System architecture and design
b. Integrations
c. Full-stack development
d. Long-term customer support
6. Provide guidance on:
a. All facets of Board software implementation, including:
b. System architecture and design
c. Integrations
d. Full-stack development
e. Long-term customer support
7. Create reporting and dashboarding for daily operations
f. Month-end counterparty remittances and reporting packages
g. Treasury function automation, including:
i. Home Improvement Dealer Indemnification (repurchase) daily upload templates for bank partners
ii. Wire templates
iii. Treasury cash reconciliation reporting
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, Management Information Systems or equivalent education and related training.
2. 10-15 years of relevant accounting or finance or technology experience that includes complex financial analysis, system architecture, design, implementation and project management.
