Senior Payroll Tax Administrator - Nashville, Tn
As a Senior Payroll Tax Administrator you will be part of the Human Resource organization. and provide transactional and administrative services related to in scope processes (eg. personnel & payroll data, benefits administration, talent administration) including mass transaction updates regarding all aspects of data and payroll processing.
Your role:
- Ensures proper setup of employees' work state for tax withholding and unemployment insurance purposes, as well as responsible for training new hires and providing guidance and support on departmental policies, procedures and systems to all other A&P Specialists.
- Ensures proper setup and maintenance of local withholding codes for employees in the payroll system.
- Accurate and timely review and reconciliation of weekly and bi-weekly tax funding, as well as performing quarterly and year-end tax filing revision.
- Process adjustments, audits, corrections and coordinate tax amendments as appropriate for W2 reporting..
- Prepare annual federal wage allocation by state and city for the Corporate Tax department.
- Coordinate and monitor SUI tax rate changes with unemployment insurance and payroll vendors.
- Maintaining and tracking tax verification reports for audit purposes.
- Lead small to medium impact Administration and Payroll projects and tactical initiatives working with cross disciplinary teams.
- Provide Call Management System (CMS) support to handle employee inquiries regarding W earnings and withholding taxes.
You're the right fit if:
You have +5 years experience in payroll tax in a multi-state environment or a valid mix of academic studies and professional experience.
You've got a bachelor's or Associate's degree in finance, accounting or an equivalent academic field.
You have had experience on ADP Global View and Microsoft Office. SAP HRIS is a plus.
Your skills include persuasive and assertive communication, proactivity in problem solving and coordinating priorities to solve issues with all stakeholders.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
This is an in office role.
