Senior Environmental Technician
Join us as a Senior Environmental Technician! You’ll collect samples, observe facility operations, interpret data, and communicate any issues with our team. Your expertise will ensure we meet regulatory and corporate standards, and you’ll provide technical training to keep everyone up to speed. You’ll also troubleshoot and maintain our environmental database, implement new software and equipment, and direct contractors as needed to ensure ongoing compliance.
What you’ll do:
Conduct facility environmental testing and sampling in accordance with regulatory procedures
Provide technical training to assist with on-going compliance
Interpret data and communicate environmental issues to operations and environmental management
Provide recommendations to encourage environmental excellence throughout maintenance and operations
Perform inspections of plant areas to assure compliance with regulatory requirements
Provide expertise to implement new software and equipment
Troubleshoot and manage environmental field sampling data
What you’ll need:
High School/GED
2+ years environmental health and safety experience
1+ Years Microsoft Office Suite experience
Bonus points if you have the following:
2+ years operations experience
Class D Domestic Wastewater Operator License
Class D Potable Drinking Water Operator License
