The Panther Group is hiring a Remote, W2 Contract, SDET with 7+ years of experience, to work with one of our partners, a financial institution. MUST BE A US CITIZEN AND HAVE LIVED IN THE US FOR THE LAST 5 YEARS

Key Responsibilities:
- Test automation. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Junit, Java, and Spring Boot.
- Test planning. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, create test plans, and define test cases.
- Defect Management. Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with development teams to resolve issues and ensure high-quality software releases.
- Continuous Improvement. Contribute to the improvement of testing processes, tools, best practices, and advocate for quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Performance Testing. Develop and execute performance tests to ensure scalability, reliability, and responsiveness of applications under various conditions using JMeter, LoadRunner, DynaTrace and other tools.
- Integration testing. Ensure Seamless integration of various components and systems, validating end-to-end functionality and performance.
- Documentation. Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for tools, frameworks, test plans, test cases and test results.
- Education. Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience. Typically, a minimum of seven years of experience in software development and test automation in a similar role is required to be successful in this role - however, if you're less experienced but super skilled, highly motivated and already an outstanding software engineer - let's talk!
- Technical skills. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python; Deep understating of AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, IAM, EBS, Aurora, KMS, Cloudwatch. Experience with test automation tools and frameworks; Strong understanding of software development methodologies and testing principles.
- Problem solving. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot issues.
- Collaboration. Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Adaptability. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, contributing to a highly complex HA architecture while managing multiple priorities.
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab, or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner or similar.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and microservices architecture.
