Sales Administrator (Fort Pierce, FL)
Actively engage with senior members of the Rainforest team to understand, improve, and execute strategic priorities. Commit to building expert competency in Rainforests ERP system, SAP Business One. Provide leadership, mentorship, and contribute to a seamless flow of communication across teams. Manage daily sales team operations and performance of sales employees. Hire and train new sales employees. Maintain file systems and database of sales records. Liaise with the Transportation, Warehouse, and accounting departments to ensure timely and efficient deliveries to customers. Maintain and update sales and customer records. Develop weekly sales reports. Communicate important customer feedback internally. Communicate customer-related performance issues with manufacturers/suppliers as required. Ensure sales targets are met and present report finding to management team on a weekly basis thru Google Meet. Process and communicate manufacturer changes, new Items, pack/price changes, promo submissions, etc., to retailers. Stay up to date with new products, features, and trends in the natural foods industry. Understand core functions and procedures of each chain retail customer of Rainforest. Work remotely but travel to company HQ to meet quarterly with regional sales manager and when necessary to recruit and train subordinates.
Requires: Masters degree Business Administration with coursework in supply chain management. (Foreign degree acceptable). Minimum of 2 years of experience in food and beverage management role with a proven track record in sales administration, supply chain management, and team leadership and have included logistics coordination in the food and beverage industry including perishables, local and emerging brands, and first-to-market concepts.as well as developing and implementing standardized operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity. Must have a successful history in managing daily operations, employee performance, and training in previous roles. Must have a comprehensive knowledge of retail operations including cost-control, marketing, communication, and finance (including GAAP accounting principles) and a successful track record in sourcing and optimizing suppliers, reducing costs, and ensuring the efficiency of the supply chain. Must have a proven ability to communicate and coordinate with various stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and sales team members and have demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to train and mentor staff, foster positive team relationships, and contribute to a seamless flow of communication across teams.
