Responsibilities*
- Culturing components of neural tissue to understand brain metastasis. Expansion, banking, and experimentation with cell lines and patient organoid material
- Preparation of material for sequencing; utilization of kits to collect material (DNA, RNA, protein, etc.); measurement of cytokines and chemokines by advanced technologies
- Dilution of compounds; maintenance of chemical stocks
- Supervision of junior researchers
Required Qualifications*
Senior:
- Master's degree and 5 to 6 years related experience.
Intermediate:
- Master's degree and 4 to 5 years related experience.
Associate:
- Bachelor's degree in related field and 1 to 3 years related experience.
Desired Qualifications*
Masters Degree or specific/Doctoral Degree desired but not required.

Background Screening
Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings.
