This is a Decentralized Float RN position which includes staffing assignments in multiple specialty ambulatory clinics.
This position is for the Procedures Clinical Group which includes the Back and Pain Center and the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Spine Clinic and the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Pediatric Clinic.

Hourly range for Registered Nurses $40.18-$62.31/ hour
- Evening Shift Differential-$3.00 / hour
- Night Shift Differential- $4.00 / hour

- Night Shift Weekend Differential- $6.90 / hour
- Charge Nurse Differential- $1.00 / hour

Responsibilities*
- Coordinate and provide nursing care to patients and families in the Procedures Clinical Group which includes the Back and Pain Center Clinics and Procedures, the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Spine Clinics and Procedures, and Rehabilitation Pediatrics Clinic.
- Provide nursing care to patient's pre and post procedure.
- Assist physicians during procedures.
- Administer and monitor IV sedation.
- Provide Telehealth (telephone triage, Rx refills, management of test results, and etc.) to patient populations at Back & Pain Center and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Clinics
- Provide patient education to patients and families.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement program.

Salary & Nursing Framework Level:
This UMPNC RN posting is posted as Nursing Framework LEVEL C
Actual Nursing Framework LEVEL and salary will be determined at time of hire.
Nursing Framework levels range from Level A to Level F.
Required qualifications must be met by the candidate in order to be interviewed and considered for the position. Posting may be filled after the initial 5-day posting period. Applicants who have left the UMPNC bargaining unit must include on their resume dates of past employment including months and years of service along with effort. Positions less than 20 hours/week may be combined.

Required Qualifications*
- Experience in Back and Pain and PMR clinics
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan.
- Current ACLS Certification
- Minimum of one year experience in Ambulatory Care

Work Schedule
Hours/Week: 40 hrs / 5 days per week
Shift/Hours/Days: Day shift and variable schedule
Specific shift start and end times to be determined; hours vary depending on clinic operations.
Location: Variety of Ambulatory Care Clinics Note: All new employees will be expected to float to a designated unit(s) in times of low census.Modes of Work
