The Quality Inspection Technician is a part of a team of Technicians responsible for inspections, measurements, and quality systems. You will work with an extended team of Engineers to evaluate quality.
Your role:
· Following Procedures and Policies for the position
· Visually Inspecting or measuring parts in accordance with inspection plans
· Verify Tooling Dimensions
· Completing and maintaining records in accordance with Good Documentation Practices
· Managing non-conforming materials and executing disposition processing in accordance with direction from the Material Review Board
You're the right fit if:
You’ve acquired 3+ years of manufacturing quality inspection experience (ie. pharmaceutical, medical device, or other regulated industry)
Your skills include coordination of measuring machine (CMM)
You have a High school Diploma (required), or Associates Degree (preferred)
You are competent in hand measurement tools (ie. micrometer, height gage, pi-tape and others)
You have ability to read engineering drawings and demonstrated knowledge in GD&T
You possess knowledge of materials, calibration, auditing and auditing techniques, and knowledge of basic statistical terms and techniques, plotting data and recognizing out-of-control conditions
You understand types of measurements, terminology, and measurement techniques
You have general understanding of ISO 13485 and FDA Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
You work well in a matrixed managed organization, and communicate openly
You must be able to use inspection planning tools and perform product audits as required
You have an understanding of the concept of traceability (product, material, and calibration)
You are flexible and able to work well in team environment
You are familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
