Psychologist
Atrius Health is seeking Psychologists for our Kenmore, Wellesley and Quincy locations.
An independently licensed psychologist who performs diagnostic assessments and ongoing psychosocial treatment/counseling to Behavioral Health patients. Performs psychosocial assessments, provides supportive counseling with a behavioral focus both in individual and group settings. Should have experience working in a chronic illness setting and be able to work independently, as well as cooperatively as a key member of a clinical team. Coordinates care with and provides consultation to other behavioral health, medical and community providers. Participates in multidisciplinary treatment teams, develops treatment plans and reviews treatment plans regularly.
EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
Doctorate in psychology (PhD) and current license to practice psychology in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or eligibility. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty.
Three years of experience in medical setting required; participation in interdisciplinary collaboration preferred.
Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrates ability to work independently, be flexible, and to prioritize workload.
