Job Title: Compounder
Shift: 1st shift Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm
Length: Starting at 6 months
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Summary:
Production/Compounding/blending of powder products as directed, following company’s guidelines of Good Manufacturing Procedures, quality, manufacturing, and safety policies.
Responsibilities:
- Select proper mixing equipment.
- Follows all company GMP/SOP.
- Performs both the Pre-Op and Post-Op inspections in accordance with FSP-004, and documents the results on the Packing Order.
- Performs the cleaning and sanitation of all production equipment (incl.tools) per the requirements of the applicable Sanitation SOP’s. The residual chlorine checks are performed after CFC foam application and after rinse, with results documented on the Batch Slip.
- Sanitizes all compounding equipment.
- Samples all completed batches.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Required
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; talk or hear; and taste or smell.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds but anything over and above this limit should use assistance.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; and fumes or airborne particles.
- The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.
- The employee is occasionally exposed to vibration.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderated.
