Role Overview:

The age of automation is upon us, so join a company that is pushing the limits of what is possible. PAR Systems is a world leader in the design and development of cutting-edge software, automation, and control systems in a variety of industries, including Life Science, Aerospace, Nuclear, and Marine. Our focus on technology, quality, and new ideas extends beyond our products, as we look to add diverse, dynamic, and dedicated people to our company.

We are looking for a Principal Controls Engineer to join our Automation business segment. Whether it’s consumer goods, semiconductors, or lifesaving medical devices, our systems incorporate the latest technology in vision, motion, robotics, and lasers. If you enjoy solving complex challenges and bringing machines to life, you are looking in the right place.

Success Criteria:

As a Principal Controls Engineer, you will be looked at as a leader in guiding our automation initiatives, from conceptual design through to implementation. Whether it’s developing solutions for complex medical devices or high-precision semiconductor machinery, you will be the key figure in solving the most challenging engineering problems and steering the company’s automation strategy. This role has an opportunity to make a substantial impact on the company, not only from a technical standpoint but also in terms of driving business decisions.

With over a decade of experience in controls engineering, you are adept at managing multiple, high-level projects while providing subject matter expertise across disciplines. Your influence will extend beyond technical execution — leading the charge in securing new business opportunities, supporting project delivery, and helping shape the future of the company in emerging markets. You’ll take ownership of key business decisions, providing financial insight into bids, evaluating value propositions, and ensuring project performance meets company standards. Your leadership will also be instrumental in building strong customer relationships, winning new accounts, and driving the successful execution of projects. Additionally, you’ll help steer the company’s strategic direction by identifying new market opportunities to deploy existing technologies

You’ve learned about what you'll be doing, here are the benefits you'll gain when you join PAR Systems:

* First-of-a-kind product culture and project exposure
* Training and development from industry-leading experts
* Cutting edge benefit programs that include: 401(k) & matching; Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance; Disability & Life Insurance; PTO, Paid Holidays, & Parental Leave for both Parents; Tuition & Relocation Reimbursement
