We want to find an innovative, adaptable, and results-oriented Principal Analyst for our SAP S4 transformation program. This position can be located in Waltham, MA or Brooklyn, NY(candidates may also reside in either Connecticut, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, or Maine). What you'll do
As a SAP Finance Principal Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in our large-scale SAP ECC to S4 transformation program. Key responsibilities include the following:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements related to SAP Finance processes and functionalities.
- Provide strategic guidance and oversee the translation of business requirements into functional specifications, ensuring alignment with SAP Finance best practices and standards.
- Drive the configuration and customization of SAP Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Financial Reporting, to meet business needs.
- Manage system testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of the solution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and technical consultants, to integrate core Finance with other modules and external systems.
- Mentor and provide guidance to team members, ensuring their professional development and growth.
- Investigate and resolve complex issues and incidents, working closely with business users and technical teams.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP Finance trends, features, and industry best practices, and provide recommendations for process improvements and system enhancements.
- Participate in project planning, estimation, and implementation activities, ensuring successful delivery within budget and timeline.
- Ensure compliance with governance, security, controls and data integrity standards, and drive continuous improvement in processes and methodologies.
- Contribute to the documentation of technical specifications, user manuals, and training materials related to SAP Finance solutions.
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or in a related field
- Extensive experience in SAP Finance modules, including configuration, customization, and integration aspects.
- Proven leadership experience in leading a team of functional analysts.
- Strong expertise in gathering and analyzing business requirements and translating them into functional specifications.
- In-depth understanding of financial accounting principles and processes.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA Finance and SAP ECC.
- Ability to drive strategic initiatives and lead change management efforts.
- Experience with system testing and user acceptance testing.
- Knowledge of SAP implementation methodologies and project lifecycle.

Salary
Dowstate NY $162,000 - $190,000 a year
Massachusetts $150,000 - $177,000 a year
Salary is commensurate with experience and location
This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
