As a Painter Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will be accountable for performing painting tasks to facilitate the Industrial Automation (IA) business unit. You will contribute to the production process by ensuring that painted parts meet quality standards and customer requirements. Your attention to detail and dedication to delivering high-quality work will play a crucial role in the success of our operations and the satisfaction of our customers.
You will report directly to our Production Supervisor and you'll work out of our Muncie, Indiana location.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and quality of our production process by ensuring that painted parts meet the required specifications. You will contribute to the overall success of our operations by delivering high-quality work and meeting customer expectations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary
- Apply paint to parts using various techniques such as spraying, brushing, or rolling
- Ensure that painted parts meet quality standards and customer requirements
- Perform touch-ups and repairs as needed
- Maintain painting equipment and tools

YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a painter in an industrial setting
- Knowledge of painting techniques and materials
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
