The OTR Driver Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating and managing the schedules and routes of our drivers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and services. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Driver Dispatcher will also oversee day-to-day planning operations and ensure compliance with all transportation regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, administer, coordinate and manage the delivery schedule for our dedicated fleet of trucks.
• Schedule and dispatch drivers to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, or needs.
• Monitor driver locations and status using GPS tracking systems
• Communicate with drivers to provide updates, instructions, and support
• Maintain accurate records of driver activities, including hours of service, mileage, and delivery details
• Address and resolve any issues or delays that arise during deliveries
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
• Ensure consistent application and compliance with DOT regulations, including maintaining driver's hours
• Facilitate the customer's delivery objectives in a timely and effective manner through constant and direct communication with drivers, load planners, and other departments
• Develop and retain strong working relationships with our dedicated partners
• Other duties as assigned

One or more years in a transportation or truck dispatching environment focusing on customer service
