Role: Network Technical Consultant (Tier 2 Location)
Location: San Diego, CA (local required)
Duration: ASAP - June 3, 2024 - December 20, 2024
Required: TS + SCI eligible clearance
We are looking for a Network Switch Technical Consultant with extensive experience configuring, implementing, & deploying Mellanox Switches onsite in San Diego, CA with TS + SCI eligible clearance. Resource must be available to perform all services on customers premises in San Diego, CA. (with possibility for some remote work)
Required Skills:
- Active TS + SCI eligible clearance
- Expert experience with configuring, implementing, and deploying Mellanox Network Switches.
- Master experience of Networking Infrastructure Concepts for seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
- Expert experience in Network Performance Optimization.
Desired Skill:
- Strong communications & organizational skills as resource will need to engage directly with various levels of customer and HPE teams.
Key Activities:
- Conduct an in-depth assessment of current infrastructure, including network architecture, hardware configurations, & performance metrics.
- Optimize configurations for performance, security, & scalability, leveraging best practices & industry standards.
- Develop a roadmap for integrating Mellanox switching technologies in the customer environment.
- Implement necessary technologies to prioritize critical applications and workloads.
- Provide knowledge transfer sessions to empower Customer IT staff with the skills & expertise needed to manage & maintain Mellanox Switching environments effectively.
- Fine-tune Mellanox switching configurations to maximize throughput, reduce latency, & enhance overall network performance.
