Full Job Description
Job Title: Security Engineer
Duration: 2 year contract (possible extensions)
Location: 100% remote
Must-have Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in network and security engineering, with a focus on modern security technologies
- Deep understanding and experience working on the following:
- Next-Gen Firewalls (Palo Alto/Illumio)
- Zero Trust Network Access (Zscaler)
- load balancing
- SSL VPN
- Cisco ISE
- Radius,
- Cloud security
- Experience with transformation to cloud services and a Zero Trust security framework
- Experience with network perimeter security, network segmentation, zero trust network access and cloud security
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or equivalent security certifications preferred
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
- Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) solutions
