Project Description:
Our client is seeking a Network Monitor Specialist to support efforts for the NMCI/SMIT program to perform network engineering support for a broad range of programs including planning, designing, and evaluating various components of the Navy’s NMCI network.
Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like:
Under the Service Management, Integration, and Transport portion of the SMIT program, your team will deliver the core backbone of the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet, including cybersecurity services, network operations, service desk, and data transport. Ultimately, this client will support the Navy in unifying its shore-based networks and data management to improve capability and service while also saving significant dollars by focusing efforts under one enterprise network.
Selling Points for Candidates: Position will hold your Secret Clearance and will be a long term contract (sick leave, holidays off)
Requirements:
- Willing to perform shift work
- Active Secret Clearance
- CompTIA Security+ certification
- 2-4+ years of relevant experience
