Position: Medical Assistant
Hillside Primary Care is seeking a Bilingual Medical Assistant to join our growing family!
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday 8a-5p
- Rotating Saturday if needed from 8a-12p
Qualifications:
1. High school graduate or GED
And or Current MA, EMT or medical equivalent training
2. Three-years medical experience in hospital or clinic type setting
* Medical terminology
* Able to prioritize and multitask
* Must have ability to work in a fast-paced environment while providing the highest level of patient care
* Follow HIPAA guidelines
BILINGUAL IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH IS A ++
Job Functions:
* Screens patients for appropriate information and enters it into the EMR system (i.e. vitals, medications, diagnosis and medical history)
* Perform vital signs
* Perform EKGs as ordered by provider
* Preparing and administering of medications either IM or PO
* Assisting providers with medical procedures
* Stocking and cleaning of rooms
* Other duties as given by office manager
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $14.25 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
