Full Job Description

Supervisory Capacity: No Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Reports finished goods and component items based on capacity requirements.
  • Communicates short and long-term customer production
  • Ensures timely output of product in response to customer orders; Analyze, address and communicate production issues in a timely manner; Work to develop solutions and improve production performance.
  • Publish and perform root cause analysis in Actual vs. Scheduled Production, Downtime and Company KPIs.
  • Calculates resulting requirements for raw materials, WIP, purchases parts and packaging based on MRP methodology.
  • Coordinates equipment repairs or maintenance with appropriate personnel with zero impact to customers.
  • Plans, coordinates and executes product bank builds in accordance to company policies
  • Participation in physical inventory.
  • Participates in Launch, Balance Out and End Change meetings.

  • Ability to multitask, interact politely and professionally with customers, suppliers and vendors, and work cooperatively with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to maintain predictable and regular attendance, arrive to designated location on time, or be at assigned location ready to work for assignment (plant, corporate office, or remote).

Required Education Level:

Bachelor's Level Degree Area of Study: Production Scheduling, Supply Chain Management or similar.

*Equivalent work experience may also be considered for certain positions.

Required Qualifications (Experience Level, Skills, Knowledge):

  • 2-5 minimum years of experience within the field
  • Experience within the automotive industry preferred
  • Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.

Preferred Qualifications (Experience Level, Skills, Knowledge):

  • Able to work in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Able to process time sensitive information and orders to meet deadlines.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills; ability to accurately communicate with co-workers and management, as well as external customers.
  • Working knowledge of MFG, PRO, QAD, MS Office, Word, Excel, and Email.
