The responsibility of the marketing program manager is to drive product value proposition design working closely with product development/planning, pricing, positioning, and to enhance the monetization strategies of the marketing team. This role is meant to significantly enhance the team's ability to optimize revenue, plan strategically, and manage campaigns effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Enable Effective Decision Making: Manage real-time information driving marketing analysis to inform decisions leading quicker adjustments in strategy and agile responses to market changes.
- Investigate assumptions - looking at current sales and engagement information to predict consumer behavior and collaborate with marketing to devise strategies that steer or retain players along our intended trajectory across the ecosystem.
- Develop new opportunities, optimizing for revenue, engagement, and retention - analyze player trends with the aim to enhance catalog content promotion, demographic targeting/segmentation. Partner with marketing lead to identify and build methods and strategies to improve player retention/reduce churn, deepen engagement, and optimize for revenue growth.
- Measure Success and Drive Efficiencies: Provide or create reports on game play engagement and revenue metrics, crucial for measuring the success of promotional campaigns and implemented revenue growth strategies. Reporting will help improve the allocation of resources across strategic promotional planning and evolution.
- Trend Analysis -identify new opportunities for enhancing engagement and revenue. Focus on investments that yield financial returns.
Additional Opportunities:
- Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align engineering solutions with business strategies
- Prepares cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on marketing spend
- Demonstrates an informed knowledge of marketing functions to resolve problems and capitalize on process improvement opportunities
- Works on multiple projects as a project team member
- Serves as a liaison between the 3pp marketing community and the engineering organization in order to provide solutions to meet department needs
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred. Or equivalent experience.
- Basic knowledge of report structures to create comprehensive marketing reports
- Ability to create marketing strategies that increase competitive advantage
- Project management skills in order to handle diverse projects, often times simultaneously, and meet aggressive deadlines
- Ability to analyze complex situations and problems and do the necessary research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutions for marketing team
- Ability to increase operating efficiency with high quality process solutions
- A high level of interpersonal and verbal communication skills necessary to relate to other people at their systems knowledge level
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $69 to $75 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
