Position Overview:
We seek motivated candidates who have excellent analytical skills, strong work ethic, a focus on results, the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas, and creative problem-solving abilities. Qualified candidates must also demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, effective teamwork, an attention to detail and ability to multi-task. Candidates must have strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Data Consolidation: Collect, organize, and analyze financial, operational, and market data from potential acquisition targets for senior management to support informed decision-making.
- Deal Summaries: Prepare detailed summaries and presentations on potential acquisitions, including financial modeling, valuation analyses, and strategic fit assessments. Present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
- Due Diligence: Assist in the due diligence process by evaluating the financial health, operational capabilities, and strategic potential of acquisition targets. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and insights.
- Financial Analysis: Perform comprehensive financial analyses including pro forma analysis and return on investment calculations. Identify key financial drivers and risks associated with potential deals.
- Market Research: Conduct market and industry research to identify trends, competitive dynamics, and potential acquisition opportunities. Provide insights to support the M&A strategy.
- Transaction Support: Assist in the preparation and negotiation of transaction documents, including term sheets, letters of intent, and deal evaluations. Collaborate with legal, finance, and other departments to ensure smooth transaction execution.
- Post-Acquisition Integration: Support post-acquisition integration efforts by providing data analysis, tracking performance metrics, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Work closely with NFP’s Integration Management Office on project management and tracking to ensure that transaction milestones and synergies meet M&A expectations.
Position and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Accounting and Finance experience, including financial modeling, required
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to interact with all levels of client management
- Problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and be self-driven, with ability to identify, plan and prioritize business opportunities
- Strong, independent judgment
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism
- Experience in a sales role a plus

The base salary range for this position is $105,000 – $124,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
