Job DescriptionNorthrop Grumman is seeking a Logistics Management Analyst (level 1) to join our submarine trainer development and deployment team supporting the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) in Newport, RI. Your focus will be on supporting deployment of the next generation undersea warfare Training Systems for the U.S. Submarine Fleet.
As a Logistics Management Analyst member, you will:
• Coordinate and monitor receipt of all hardware procurements.
• Provide support preparing logistics documentation to establish the range and depth of spares, tools, test equipment and related manuals to be deployed and stocked.
• Track logistics materials and parts for proper allocation of storage facilities
• Review configuration changes to evaluate impact on logistics deployment
• Document equipment, component, and parts conditions
• Identify logistic support documentation to be included such as drawings, technical manuals, and maintenance requirement cards to support life cycle of products
• Support physical hardware installation of IT computing equipment and cabling at both local and remote sites when necessary.
Basic Qualifications:
• High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years' experience or a Bachelor's degree with 2 years' experience.
• Active Secret DoD clearance
• Experience in warehousing, packaging, handling, shipping & receiving
• Experience using MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint required
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with government Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
• Basic IT skills.
• Navy Logistics / Supply or other similar military experience
Salary Range: $62,600 - $93,800
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
