LOCATION
Oxnard, CA
We offer the benefit of intern housing assistance, for those that qualify based on proximity, to ensure interns have a positive experience and are financially able to afford living for the length of the internship.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Apply business concepts and principles in real world situations
* Contribute to the enhancement and improvement of various HR processes
* Gain exposure to various HR departments including but not limited to:
o Compensation
o Benefits
o Labor Relations
o Staffing
o Manufacturing Support
SELECTION CRITERIA
Education
* Must be working toward a bachelor's degree in HR or a related field
* Must have a least a Sophomore standing
* GPA of 3.0 or higher
Other
* Strong analytical and decision making skills
* Detail oriented/organizational skills
* Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and listening skills
* Good presentation and facilitation skills
* Strong team player with the ability to work independently
* Spanish fluency (speak, read, write) required
* Must be available March 27, 2017-August 2017
* Must be available to work 40-70 hours per week, including weekends/holidays, and be available to work all shifts (day, night, graveyard)
Compensation:
Pay Range is $19/hr, to $24/hr.
Housing Allowance (to qualified students)
