We’re growing at nVent Anoka! Join our team as a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support our operations on 3rd Shift.

In this position, you will get to:

Perform a variety of duties including industrial plumbing, light construction, general carpentry, and other various facility maintenance tasks.

Some job responsibilities include:

  • Light Carpentry
  • Concrete Repair
  • Painting (interior/exterior)
  • Plumbing
  • Supporting remodel projects
  • Inert gas system maintenance
  • Support maintenance team as needed with breakdowns and/or projects

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge and personal or professional experience in one or more of the following:
    • Carpentry
    • Plumbing
    • HVAC - Light commercial
    • compressed air systems - Light commercial
    • Inert gas system maintenance
  • Ability to obtain a special boilers license and 608 reclaim certification within 9 months required
  • Computer skills to navigate websites, email, and other office programs
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as design drawings, blueprints, safety guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals.
  • A High School diploma, Trade School or Military training preferred
