Position Overview:
Responsible for facilitating network improvements for the Mediacom HSD product.

Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct advanced troubleshooting.
- Design and engineer network improvements.
- Configure network equipment.
- Monitor utilization reports and forecast improvements.
- Maintain proper network documents.
- Provide direction and process guidelines for the field engineering teams.
- Manage technical projects.
- Perform various duties/projects as directed.
Position Requirements:
- Associates Degree in Communications or similar technical field required.
- Preferred - CCNA or CCNP certification.
- Preferred - 2 years network analyst or equivalent experience.
- Intermediate Knowledge of network protocols layer 1,2 and 3.
- Ability to effectively troubleshoot problems.
- Intermediate Knowledge of RF plant.
- Intermediate Knowledge of optical networks.
- Solid interpersonal skills to interactive with external vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to interact with senior management and field personnel in a professional manner.

Disclaimer:The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $75,000 a year. When making a job offer, we consider several factors in our determination, such as years of related work experience; relevant skills and qualifications; education level; and certifications/licenses.
