Job Overview

The Developer Analyst I is a full stack developer role with a focus on back-end development. They will utilize various software development languages to write, edit, maintain, and test computer software. They follow the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to plan, design, build, test, and deploy software applications, including web portals, DV proprietary analytical modules and SQL applications. In addition to creating new software, the role will also improve and maintain existing software. All tasks are monitored under the direction of a Senior Developer.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Production Code - Develop user-friendly, reliable code that will run in a production environment, with clear documentation for others to follow.
  • Software Maintenance - Improve and maintain the working order of existing software. Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Software Testing - Test the code to ensure correctness.
  • Utilize Development Standards - Utilize software principles, strategies and architectures as defined by the Enterprise Architect (Git, Archiving Process, JIRA, Web Technologies, etc.).
  • Design - Analyze user requirements/stories and convert requirements to design documents.
  • Infrastructure – Help manage our system architecture, resources, and processes.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Must have
    • A strong math proficiency
    • SQL Server
    • NodeJS
    • Linux
  • Nice to Have
    • Docker
    • Jenkins
    • C/C++
    • Angular2 (v10+) or similar (React or Vue)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (4 years)
  • Experience in Software Development or related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science

Work Environment

  • Office Environment (can change based of business needs)
