Location: Based out of our Durham, NC (preferred) or Philadelphia, PA offices with a 2-3 days/week on-site requirement. Relocation assistance not provided.

Are you looking for a highly impactful Marketing Manager role where you get to shape the launch of a new medicine while leading innovative execution of strategy and creative solutions on behalf of patients? If so, this role could be an excellent opportunity to consider.

As a DTC Marketing Manager for Gepotidacin (in GSK’s anti-infectives portfolio), you will be leading key projects focused on the development of promotional tactics to execute the brand strategy with the opportunity to gain experience in building omnichannel customer experiences. Candidate should be a self-starter, who has a passion for ensuring marketing campaigns are customer focused, competitive, and innovative.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. Responsibilities include:

  • Lead development of assigned promotional tactics (e.g. website components, digital media ads, Social Media ads, OOH & POC ads, CRM, etc.) – including developing project briefs to ensure promotional materials will deliver on the brand strategy and meet business objectives
  • Develop implementation strategy for key promotional components including omnichannel marketing opportunities and development of orchestrated use cases -- clearly articulating brand strategy to matrix partners to enable effective pull-through and execution
  • Work effectively and collaboratively as an equal partner across a matrix marketing organization
  • Strategically align product and its attributes to identified marketplace needs through application of learnings from market research, data analysis, and insight generation
  • Work closely with Marketing Directors to ensure tactics align with and support brand strategies and objectives
  • Effectively lead cross-functional team of internal and external partners, including the creative agency, CRM agency, media agency and project teams to align objectives across multiple groups and influence outcomes
  • Manage projects through the promotional review and approval process
  • Utilize analytics to develop, measure and optimize integrated multi-channel campaigns.
  • Develop effective working relationships and engage across relevant stakeholders (Brand Marketing Leaders, Medical, Marketing Directors, Legal/Regulatory)

Why you?
Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • BS/BA, preferably in Business/Marketing or Health Sciences related field.
  • 2+ years of healthcare marketing (e.g. Rx brand marketing, OTC product marketing, pharma market research analyst or provider marketing) or other relevant commercial marketing experience (e.g. advertising agency, CPG).
  • Experience working in a matrix environment and with all levels of an organization.

Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • MBA
  • Pharma marketing experience (HCP or DTC, or both) strongly preferred
  • 5 - 8 years marketing experience (2 years in healthcare marketing)
  • Project management experience with proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Demonstrated leadership, proven decision-making, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and oral/written communication skills.
  • Experience with primary and secondary market research.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills. Ability to understand drivers of performance, synthesize and accurately draw conclusions from data and apply results of market research to inform decision-making.
  • Budget management experience.
  • Experience implementing projects within pharma including copy approval experience.
  • Experience managing external ad agencies.
