Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement service sales strategies aligned with organizational goals to drive growth and profitability across the US and Canada.
- Customer Engagement: Actively manage and nurture key customer accounts to ensure exceptional service delivery and foster long-term relationships.
- Talent Development: Build and mentor a high-performing service sales team, creating a robust talent pipeline and fostering professional growth.
- Collaboration: Work closely with new equipment sales teams to identify "up-sell" and "cross-sell" opportunities, enhancing customer experience and revenue.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee the day-to-day activities of the service sales team, ensuring a consistent approach, resource optimization, and high performance.
- Market Strategy: Define and execute the go-to-market strategy based on regional requirements, competitive landscapes, and resource availability.
- Sales Management: Set, track, and achieve sales targets and KPIs for the service sales team, ensuring consistent market reach and growth.
- Solution Development: Lead the offer management process, including defining scope, pricing, and technical detailing, while ensuring service profitability.
- Innovation: Support product development initiatives and collaborate with the product management team to align service offerings with customer needs.
Your Profile / Qualifications
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Management, or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in capital equipment or service sales.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate remote teams effectively.
- Familiarity with service offerings and market requirements for diverse customer groups is a plus.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics, integrity, and fostering a diverse workplace.
- Exceptional leadership and vision in managing staff, projects, and initiatives.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact across all organizational levels and cultures.
- Expertise in strategic planning, problem-solving, and decision-making.
- Proficient in building and implementing service sales strategies to achieve measurable results.
- Willingness to travel up to 75%, including occasional international travel.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
